Inner Shift Experience ("ISE", "we", "us", or "the Service") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you interact with the Service:

  • Account information: the email address and name you provide when you start or resume the assessment.
  • Assessment responses: your answers to quiz questions, your free-text responses during the intake process, and other selections you make during the assessment.
  • Device and browser metadata: information about the device and browser you use to access the Service, such as browser type, operating system, screen size, and language preferences.
  • Usage information: how you interact with the Service, including timestamps for when you start, pause, resume, and complete the assessment, and which pages or screens you view.

We do not knowingly collect more information than is necessary to deliver the Service.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver the assessment and generate your personalized personality profile;
  • Save your progress so you can pause and resume on the same or a different device;
  • Communicate with you about your results, account, or important changes to the Service;
  • Improve the Service by understanding how users interact with it in aggregate;
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, or security issues;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We share data with third-party services that help us deliver the Assessment. These include: an analytics service that helps us understand how users interact with the quiz, and an AI provider that powers the natural-language portions of the assessment. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection commitments. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Retention

We retain your assessment results and account information while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your data, we will purge records tied to your email address from our active systems. Some information may remain in routine backups for a limited period before being overwritten, and we may retain a minimal record of the deletion request itself for audit and compliance purposes.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you;
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format;
  • Request deletion of your data;
  • Correct inaccurate data we hold about you;
  • Withdraw consent to specific uses of your data where consent is the legal basis.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@innershiftexp.com with your request. We will respond within a reasonable time and may ask you to verify your identity before acting on the request.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes:

  • Session management — so you can pause and resume your assessment on the same device without re-authenticating each time.
  • Analytics — so we can understand usage patterns in aggregate and improve the Service.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect your ability to resume an in-progress assessment or to use certain features of the Service.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, please contact us at info@innershiftexp.com and we will take steps to delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will provide notice by email to the address associated with your account or by an in-app notice, and we will update the effective date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
