Welcome to Inner Shift Experience ("ISE", "we", "us", or "the Service"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Service. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting your email, taking the assessment, or otherwise interacting with the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Description of Service
Inner Shift Experience offers a multi-view personality assessment delivered through a guided conversation interface combined with standardized inventory items. The Service synthesizes results across several independent personality frameworks and returns a personalized profile. The Service is informational and is not a substitute for professional advice.
3. User Accounts and Email Verification
Access to certain features requires a valid email address. We use magic-link authentication: we send a one-time link or code to the email you provide; clicking the link or entering the code authenticates your session. You are responsible for maintaining access to that email address and for activity through your account. Notify us at info@innershiftexp.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract content from the Service without prior written permission;
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the assessment, generate fake responses, or otherwise abuse the Service;
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or derive the source code of the Service;
- Interfere with the integrity, security, or availability of the Service;
- Collect or harvest information about other users.
5. User-Submitted Content
You may submit content to the Service, including quiz answers, free-text intake responses, and messages you send to us. By submitting content, you grant ISE a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and transmit that content solely to deliver the assessment, generate your profile, and improve the Service. You retain ownership of your submissions and represent that they do not infringe the rights of any third party.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service — including software, designs, text, graphics, assessment frameworks, scoring methodologies, and how results are synthesized and presented — is owned by ISE and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for individual, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written permission. You retain rights to your own submissions per Section 5.
7. Third-Party Services
We use third-party analytics tools and natural-language-processing services to deliver the Assessment. See our Privacy Policy for details about what is shared and how those providers handle data on our behalf.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE ASSESSMENT IS INFORMATIONAL, NOT DIAGNOSTIC. IT IS NOT MEDICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, OR PSYCHIATRIC ADVICE. DO NOT USE THE RESULTS AS THE SOLE BASIS FOR IMPORTANT LIFE DECISIONS, INCLUDING DECISIONS ABOUT MEDICAL TREATMENT, MENTAL-HEALTH CARE, EMPLOYMENT, RELATIONSHIPS, OR FINANCES.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ISE and its service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred United States dollars (USD 100) if you have not paid us anything.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ISE, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of the rights of another party; or (d) content you submit.
11. Modification of Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will provide notice by email to the address associated with your account or by an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any modification constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
